The Lions, the pitch and the wardrobe

Actually, there wasn't a wardrobe. I was just trying and failing to be clever.

Alas, for Surrey, the CB40 game against the Unicorns at the Brit Oval on Sunday was unable to go ahead. Not a single ball was bowled, and the match was abandoned with one point being awarded to each side. The official reason being that it was hosing down, and conditions were simply too wet underfoot to play.

But between you and me, I reckon it was because the Unicorns were missing Mr Tumnus and Gandalf.
